Summary
• We are seeking a qualified and versatile ICT Teacher who will also serve as part of the College’s ICT staff.
• The successful candidate will not only teach ICT across relevant grade levels but also support the school’s ICT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations of digital systems, networks, and equipment.
Responsibilities
Teaching Duties:
• Deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum and Jesuit educational philosophy
• Teach practical computer skills, including programming, networking, and digital literacy
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments
• Guide students in hands-on ICT projects and laboratory work.
ICT Staff Duties:
• Provide technical support for staff and students on ICT-related issues
• Assist in maintaining the school’s ICT infrastructure networks, hardware, software, and digital platforms
• Support the integration of ICT into teaching and learning across subjects
• Collaborate with the ICT team to ensure the smooth running of digital systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, ICT, or related field
• A Postgraduate Diploma in Education PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification is an added advantage
• Proven teaching experience in ICT at the secondary school level
• Experience as a WAEC examiner is mandatory
• Strong technical skills in ICT systems, troubleshooting, and digital tools
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
