Job Description
Huawei Nigeria is expanding its presence in the Oil & Gas sector and is seeking a seasoned Nigerian ICT Enterprise Sales Manager – Oil & Gas to drive strategic ICT sales, digital transformation, and enterprise engagement across Nigeria’s Energy industry.
This is a senior, revenue-driven role for a professional with proven enterprise ICT sales experience, a strong network in the Energy sector, and the ability to turn complex technology challenges into tangible business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and grow Huawei’s enterprise ICT sales within the Oil & Gas sector in Abuja.
• Identify client pain points and design tailored solutions using Huawei’s ICT portfolio (Cloud, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Networking, Data Storage, and Intelligent Infrastructure).
• Lead enterprise sales cycles end-to-end, including opportunity identification, solution positioning, PoCs, proposals, negotiation, and closure.
• Build and maintain strong C-level and technical relationships with Oil & Gas customers and partners.
• Collaborate with internal Huawei teams (Pre-sales, Delivery, Product, Marketing) to ensure seamless solution implementation and customer success.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to expand Huawei’s footprint in the Energy sector.
Required Experience & Profile
• +5 years of experience in Enterprise ICT Sales, Key Account Management, or Business Development.
• Proven track record selling ICT solutions (Cloud, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related enterprise technologies) to Oil & Gas clients.
• In-depth knowledge of ICT solutions and digital transformation in enterprise settings.
• Well-established professional network within the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in Abuja.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in complex sales environments with multiple decision-makers.
• Huawei certifications or prior Huawei solutions experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
• Degree/Diploma or higher in Business Management, Marketing, IT or a related field.
