Role Description
We are looking for a dedicated Spanish and Hausa Teacher to join our team in Abuja, with a fully remote working arrangement. This is a contract position that offers a flexible and dynamic work environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing and delivering engaging language lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Creating lesson plans that meet the diverse learning requirements of students.
• Conducting assessments to track students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their proficiency in Spanish and/or Hausa.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the development of curriculum and improve teaching strategies.
As a language teacher, your primary role is to ensure students acquire the necessary skills and understanding in their language of choice through both structured lessons and interactive activities.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in lesson planning and developing educational materials to suit diverse learning styles.
• Experience in education, including creating an effective and supportive learning environment.
• Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written skills are essential for teaching and providing feedback.
• Proven teaching and training abilities, with a track record of helping students reach their learning goals.
• Passion for language instruction and cultural exchange, fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Fluency in Spanish and Hausa (both written and spoken), with a good command of English.
• A university degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience in Spanish and/or Hausa is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
