Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Principal Project Manager to lead major infrastructure development projects. This is a critical, fully remote position that requires exceptional leadership, planning, and execution capabilities. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This role demands a deep understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and budget oversight. You will work with a diverse team of professionals, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ability to manage multiple large-scale projects concurrently is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, resources, timelines, and risk assessments. Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring financial discipline and controlling costs. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community leaders. Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols. Manage contracts and procurements related to project activities. Report on project status, progress, and key performance indicators to senior management. Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders. Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned for future projects. Champion best practices in project management and contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or equivalent project management certification is mandatory. A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in managing complex infrastructure projects is required, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity. Proven experience in remote team management and virtual collaboration is essential. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills are crucial.
