Job Title: Civil Engineer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Roles And Responsibilities
• Conduct feasibility studies and site inspections.
• Design infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, dams, buildings, and water supply systems.
• Use computer-aided software to create and design blueprints and models.
• Ensure designs meet technical specifications, regulations, and environmental standards.
• Oversee the construction process to ensure it adheres to design specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and workmanship for quality assurance.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on the construction site.
• Prepare project cost estimates and manage budgets.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans when necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
• Analyze data to identify potential risks, environmental impact, and engineering challenges.
• Plan and oversee the repair or upgrading of deteriorating structures.
• Manage and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Keep records of project progress, including changes, budgets, and technical documentation.
Health, Safety And Environment
• Ensure no machine, equipment, or tool is used in a way that would cause injury to someone else.
• Ensure that the work area is safe for the movement of workers, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure there is adequate instruction about a piece of machinery or equipment before been used.
• Taking reasonable care of their own safety, and the safety of those around them
• Take enforcement action in relation to any non-compliance, ranging from advice on stopping dangerous work activities to potentially taking prosecutions where people are put at serious risk; and provide advice and guidance to help you comply with the law and avoid injuries and ill health at work
• Know allthe HSES requirements that apply to the work under your supervision and make sure those requirements are met.
• Ensure workers under your supervision are aware of all known hazards
• Ensure workers under yoursupervision have the appropriate personal protective equipment, which is being used properly, regularly inspected, and maintained
• Soft Skills (Added advantage)
• Perform basic computer related activities.
• Knowledge of worksite hazard mgt and permit to work systems.

Requirements
• Academics:B.Eng / HND in Engineering
• Gender: Male
