Job Description
Our client is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Lead Project Manager to spearhead critical initiatives. This fully remote position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for defining project scope, developing detailed project plans, allocating resources, and managing project timelines. This role requires a strong leader capable of guiding cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and effectively communicating with all stakeholders, including senior management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects, and exceptional organizational and leadership skills. You will be adept at problem-solving, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution. This position demands a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential project impediments and ensuring clear communication channels are maintained. You will also be responsible for establishing project governance, monitoring progress, and reporting on key project metrics. Experience with managing remote teams and leveraging project management software is essential. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into actionable project plans and drive successful outcomes in a distributed work environment.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple complex projects from initiation to closure. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget. Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies. Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. Manage project budgets and track expenditures against planned costs. Oversee the procurement and management of project resources, including vendors and contractors. Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion in a lead role. Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Proficiency in various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience working with and managing remote teams.
