Wellspring College is a reputable international secondary school located on Mainland, Lagos State. We are seeking to employ a dedicated and passionateICT/Data Processing Teacher who demonstrates a genuine love for teaching and the ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of teaching experience, a deep understanding of the Nigerian/British curriculum, and strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
LOCATION: Omole Phase 2, Lagos State
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and teaching of lessons as set out in the curriculum, setting the assessment tasks and marking students work.
Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, student academic progress, and personal management skills. providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their best.
Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint and other digital tools to create interactive and informative teaching materials.
Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
Job Requirements:
• Candidate must possess an HND / BSc/B.ED in relevant discipline.
• Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations (WASSCE, BECE, UTME, IGCSE etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a reputable secondary school
• Proficiency in the use of the interactive white board and deployment of ICT tools in teaching and learning
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A 21st-century educator with an innovative and creative teaching approach
• Result-driven, goal-oriented, and passionate about student success
• An adaptable learner with a teachable spirit
• Well-groomed and professionally presented
• Able to build and maintain excellent relationships with learners
• IGCSE Certification is an added advantage.
