We are seeking an experienced Oil Trader with a strong understanding of petroleum product markets, trading strategies, and supply chain dynamics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in trading refined petroleum products and managing commercial relationships across local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute trading of petroleum products in line with the company strategy
• Analyze market trends, pricing movements, and demand-supply dynamics
• Manage supplier and buyer relationships to optimize trading margins
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms
• Monitor risk exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal controls
• Work closely with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth trade execution
Requirements
• Minimum of 6 years’ hands-on experience as an Oil Trader
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas trading, pricing mechanisms, and contracts
• Excellent negotiation and commercial acumen
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Proven integrity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment
