Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Officer to join our microfinance bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, assessing loan applications, evaluating creditworthiness, monitoring loan performance, and ensuring compliance.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Identify, mobilize, and onboard potential borrowers within assigned communities or markets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and timely repayments.
• Conduct field visits and appraisals to evaluate applicants’ businesses, income, and repayment capacity.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements.
• Monitor disbursed loans to ensure repayment schedules are adhered to.
• Provide financial guidance and repayment support to clients.
Requirements:
• OND/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience (1–3 years) in credit management, microfinance, or banking is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, and micro-lending principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in the field, travel to communities, and interact with clients at different income levels.
