Overview
The Part Time Primary ICT Teacher supports pupils in developing essential technology skills through engaging and age appropriate lessons. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about digital literacy, enjoys working with children, and can teach ICT in a fun and accessible way. The teacher will handle primary classes on a part time schedule while ensuring strong lesson delivery and effective classroom engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach ICT lessons to primary pupils, introducing digital literacy, basic coding, typing, and safe technology practices.
• Prepare clear, engaging, and practical lesson plans that align with the school's ICT curriculum.
• Support hands on learning through projects, simple coding tasks, digital creativity, and problem solving activities.
• Ensure ICT equipment is used safely and responsibly, reporting any technical concerns promptly.
• Track pupils' progress and share feedback that builds confidence and encourages improvement.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to integrate ICT into other subjects where beneficial.
• Uphold safeguarding policies, behaviour expectations, and the school's ICT safety guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in ICT Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience teaching ICT to children is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of digital literacy and basic coding suitable for primary learners.

Pay: From ₦70,000.00 per month
