HIRING – HR/Admin Officer (Building Construction Company)
Location: Bayelsa
Reports to: HR Manager
Compensation: Basic Pay ranges BTW N200k - N230k monthly + other benefits
About Company: Our client is a leading Civil Engineering and Construction firm in Nigeria.
The company is seeking to hire an experienced HR/Admin Officer who will provide support services across HR documentation, administrative coordination, logistics management, welfare administration, employee data management, and compliance support.
The role ensures smooth day-to-day HR & administrative operations, efficient office support, timely service delivery, and accurate data flow to the HR Generalist and Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate recruitment, logistics and candidate communication.
Schedule Meetings & coordinate attendance.
Provide work tools. Emails, Internet and Workstation for new hires.
Prepare employment letters, confirmations, exits and transfers.
Maintain accurate employee records, database and HRIS updates.
Prepare reports on HR-related metrics.
Support expatriate documentation, visas, permits, and welfare.
Manage attendance, leave, and timesheet tracking.
Coordinate staff welfare administration and medical support.
Manage employee Travel Requests including hotel bookings, transportation, and welfare.
Supervise outsourced staff attendance and document new intakes.
Supervise the work of employees in supporting roles in admin such as cleaning, dispatch, and office assistant.
Support office and guesthouse management.
Monitor fuel consumption and prepare monthly reports (fuel consumption, attendance etc).
Prepare meeting minutes and manage departmental correspondence.
Support HR and Admin audits.
Conduct onboarding/induction for new hire.
Perform other assigned HR/Admin tasks.
Key Requirements
B.Sc in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or any related field.
2 years’ experience as an HR/Admin Officer.
HR Certifications (CIPM, SHRM or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Knowledge of office administration procedures.
Strong organization and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR reporting tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
