Job Summary

The Senior HR Officer will support day-to-day HR operations and supervise junior HR staff within the organization. The role also involves supporting HR services provided to client organizations, including recruitment support, performance management activities, and HR policy documentation.

This position is practical and hands-on, suited to an experienced HR professional who can manage routine HR work, guide junior team members, and support HR service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Supervision
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of HR Officers, Recruiters, and interns.
• Assign tasks, follow up on deliverables, and ensure timelines are met.
• Support internal HR administration including onboarding, staff records, and documentation.
• Ensure internal HR processes are followed consistently.

2. Recruitment Support
• Support recruitment activities across various roles and industries.
• Review job descriptions, candidate shortlists, and interview reports prepared by junior staff.
• Ensure recruitment documentation is accurate and properly maintained.

3. HR Support Services (Client-Facing)
• Support HR services provided to client organizations.
• Assist with performance management activities such as appraisal setup and documentation.
• Support the preparation and updating of HR policies and employee handbooks.
• Assist with the rollout of HR processes as required by clients.

4. Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure HR activities comply with company policies and Nigerian labor regulations.
• Maintain accurate HR records and reports.
• Prepare basic HR and recruitment reports for management review.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience, including recruitment and general HR operations.
• Previous experience supervising junior HR staff or recruiters.
• Good understanding of Nigerian labour laws and HR practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦450,000.00 per month
