Job Description
Our client, a highly reputable global investment bank, is actively seeking a talented and ambitious Remote Financial Analyst to join their distinguished Banking & Finance division. This is a fully remote position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations and strategic initiatives without geographical constraints. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to model complex financial scenarios. You will play a key role in supporting M&A transactions, capital raising, and corporate finance advisory services.

Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including valuation, modeling, and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and pitch books for client meetings and internal reviews. Develop and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution) to support transaction analysis and strategic decision-making. Assist in the execution of capital raising activities, including debt and equity offerings. Monitor industry trends, market developments, and macroeconomic factors that may impact client businesses. Support senior bankers in client relationship management and business development efforts. Perform sector research and identify potential investment opportunities or strategic partnerships. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, legal counsel, and other advisors on transaction execution. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data and analysis. Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance documentation. Stay abreast of best practices and innovations in investment banking and financial analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or financial advisory. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel. Strong understanding of capital markets, financial statements, and accounting principles. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a remote environment. High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in financial databases and software such as Bloomberg, FactSet, CapIQ, and PowerPoint. Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
