Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Risk Analyst to join their remote risk management team. This role is integral to identifying, assessing, and mitigating various financial risks across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making through comprehensive risk analysis.
Key responsibilities include conducting quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, modeling potential risk scenarios, and developing risk mitigation strategies for market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk. You will be involved in the design and implementation of risk policies and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with business objectives. The Senior Risk Analyst will prepare detailed risk reports and present findings to senior management and regulatory bodies. Collaboration with various business units to embed risk management practices throughout the organization will be a key aspect of the role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets, banking operations, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel Accords). Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modeling, and risk management software is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to effectively articulate complex risk concepts to diverse audiences. A relevant professional qualification (e.g., FRM, PRM) is highly desirable.
