Our client, a dynamic and growing international company, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Senior Accountant to join their finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing general ledger operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts. Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other relevant accounting standards. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Perform financial analysis and provide insights to management. Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy and integrity. Support internal and external audits. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures. Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ACA) is highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial reporting and analysis. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
