Job Summary
• As a Accountant at Nigieria Limited , you will oversee and support the restaurant's financial operations.
• You’ll ensure accurate bookkeeping, compliance with financial policies, and timely financial reporting within a hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll, statutory deductions, and vendor payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows).
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis.
• Support audit processes and compliance (including tax remittances).
• Collaborate with other departments (operations, front office, F&B) for financial insights.
• Identify inefficiencies, recommend cost-saving measures.
• Implement and uphold internal controls and financial policies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree ( / HND) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in hospitality / hotel / restaurant accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and integrity in handling financial data.
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
