As we continue to scale rapidly, we are seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Representative with strong fintech experience to accelerate user adoption, merchant onboarding, and strategic partnerships across both B2C and B2B markets.

Position Summary

The Sales Representative will play a critical role in driving Bill Station’s growth by identifying, acquiring, onboarding, and managing both individual users and business clients. This is a field-based role that requires direct, in-person engagement with customers, merchants, agents, SMEs, and institutions.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in fintech or digital services sales, is comfortable operating in the field, and consistently converts prospects into active, revenue-generating users. Success in this role requires strong closing ability, relationship-building skills, and the discipline to meet and exceed aggressive growth targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesUser Acquisition & Activation
• Actively acquire new users through direct field engagement and ensure they:
• Download the Bill Station app
• Complete KYC requirements
• Perform their first transaction and remain active users
• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly user acquisition and activation targets.

Merchant, Agent & Business Onboarding
• Identify, onboard, and manage merchants, agents, SMEs, vendors, and institutional partners.
• Promote Bill Station as a business tool for bulk airtime/data, bill payments, collections, ticket sales, and digital payments.
• Convert prospects into long-term business partners with recurring transaction volumes.

Field Sales & Market Expansion
• Execute B2C and B2B sales activities across:
• Campuses and student communities
• Markets and commercial districts
• Offices, estates, and residential areas
• Transport hubs, events, and activations
• Conduct face-to-face product demos and sales presentations.

Marketing & Brand Activation Support
• Support marketing campaigns, influencer activations, referral programs, and promotions.
• Distribute flyers, banners, QR cards, and branded materials during field activations.
• Represent Bill Station professionally at exhibitions, trade fairs, and community outreach programs.

Customer Retention & Relationship Management
• Follow up with users and merchants to drive repeat transactions and sustained app usage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, communities, SMEs, and agent networks.
• Train and support newly onboarded sub-agents or junior marketers when assigned.

Reporting & Market Intelligence
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, onboarded users, and merchants.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports as required.
• Provide regular feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to management.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in fintech, payments, or digital services.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
• Strong understanding of fintech products, including:
• Digital wallets
• Airtime and data vending
• Payment gateways
• Remittance and transfer services
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong closing ability with both B2C and B2B customers.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, digital tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable working independently in the field.
