Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Home Economics Teacher located in Oshogbo. The Home Economics Teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in areas such as food and nutrition, clothing and textiles, home management, and family life education in alignment with the school’s curriculum. Responsibilities include assessing students’ progress, maintaining a productive classroom environment, assisting in co-curricular activities, and supporting student development to realize their full potential.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in Teaching and Training, with the ability to use diverse teaching methods and adapt to students' needs.
• Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Education, with a demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive and engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum goals.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey concepts and inspire students.
• Relevant qualifications in Home Economics, Education, or related fields, preferably a Bachelor’s degree or teaching certification.
• Classroom management skills and the ability to mentor and positively influence young learners.
• Experience in tailoring lessons to incorporate practical and interactive learning activities is highly desirable.
• A passion for teaching and commitment to fostering creativity, self-reliance, and critical thinking in students.
