Company Overview: The company has state of art EHV transformer manufacturing plant up to 765kV with installed capacity of 15000 MVA in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, India dedicated to providing high-quality Power Transformers and solutions to clients nationally and Internationally. The company is also a dominant player in Power EPC/turnkey business in T&D, Power Generation, Electrical Balance of Plant and Railway substations and has also executed substation projects upto 330 KV (AIS/GIS), EHV/HV Transmission lines, Railway substations, Distribution projects(substations and lines), Power generation projects, Electrical Balance of Plants in India and Africa on turnkey and EPC basis with in house Engineering and project management capabilities.

Position Overview: Project Director would be required to oversee and manage all execution and construction aspects of projects on his area which will include but not limited to project management, resource planning, project execution planning, customer relations, site construction management, contractors management, cash flow management and ensuing statuary compliances. The project Director will be responsible to ensure on time and on quality deliverance by defining milestone execution plans and ensuring it achievement to ensure timely execution and closure of project by maintaining health and safety standards at site. The ideal candidate should have a strong /hands on background in the EPC project management and execution field with exceptional leadership skills to drive the team, and a proven track project and construction management.. Past experience must include successful execution and closure of Power EPC projects and ability to manage multi location site execution capability.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

Develop EPC execution organization / team and processes to ensure adherence to execution/completion schedules on time

Develop and execute project execution plans on IT enabled platforms to ensure achievement of monthly execution plans

Institute robust review mechanism to identify and execute lead actions to eliminate time and cost overrun

Build a conducive client and stake holders relations required for successful project executions

Build high moral, enthusiasm, high energy and highly focused result oriented work force through "People first" approach and employee engagement initiatives

Project Planning, scheduling and controlling management

Build up dynamic planning schedule of all projects by identifying risk areas and risk mitigation plan

Build up procurement and resource requirement schedule and coordinate with stakeholders to align their priorities

Build up cash flow plans to ensure cash positive status of project at all times

Build up a customized robust IT enabled review mechanism for monitoring project status on Daily/weekly/monthly basis to capture expected delays/challenges.

Project Management and Execution:

Manage the Project management team tailor made for each project, including Project management/planning/construction/procurement/cash flow plans through regular site visits/reviews and customer interactions

Develop and manage project wise budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure profitability and growth.

Define and implement IT enabled systems and processes for project monitoring and control

Improve business processes & systems for speed and accuracy leading to "fully Compliant company" for statutory and regulatory requirements

Team Management:

Build and lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.

Customer and Stakeholder Relations:

Maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, local authorities and stakeholders through personal meeting and meaningful communications

Ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery of products and exceptional service.

Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise in the course of project execution

Position company as most preferred supplier by customers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering. Additional qualification in field of project/construction management will be preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in the power EPC Project management function industry, with at least 5 years in site construction/execution role.

Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems.
