Job Title: Project Manager (Banking Sector)
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid)
Contract: 6 months, renewable
About the Role
Our client, a leading player in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive critical projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong project delivery skills with Agile expertise, ensuring successful execution of initiatives that impact banking operations and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of banking projects (technology, operations, compliance).
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business units, and external vendors.
• Ensure projects meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Track progress, manage risks, and report to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management and Agile practices.
Requirements
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience in project management role.
• Proven track record delivering projects in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
• Relevant certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
