Summary
• The Yoruba Language Teacher will be responsible for teaching Yoruba language and culture to primary and secondary school students in line with the approved curriculum and school standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Yoruba language effectively at primary and secondary levels.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials.
• Assess students through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Promote Yoruba culture, values, and proper language usage.
• Maintain classroom discipline and support students’ academic growth.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities.
Requirements
• Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or B.A in Yoruba or related field.
• Teaching experience at primary and/or secondary level.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for indigenous language preservation and education.
