JOB SUMMARY

Lead and manage the nationwide RTM strategy across all sales channels.Conduct market research, assess the results to determine the appropriate RTM models for each region, and establish a distribution development strategy.Undertake route design and mapping for all company distributors with keen focus on route productivity and resource efficiency aided by modern tools and geo-mapping system.General Objective:The Route-To-Market Manager will spearhead a comprehensive change process that will bring about major improvements to the way we sell, distribute and make available our products to our trade and consumers.QualificationsBA / B.Sc / MBA in Business Administration, Marketing Management, Business Management, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years experience in Sales & Marketing with 2 years of RTM specialization experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) organization.Experience in the dairy industry will be an added advantageMust have a valid driving license and be of unquestionable character with outstanding leadership skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Building the RTM Strategies for various market models across state marketsSet the Sales Processes like sales planning and primary and secondary sales execution for sales excellenceEnsure sales and distribution model in line with company strategiesExecute and evaluate RTM performance distributor infrastructureSetting up expectations and process for cross-functional dependencies, like with marketing for trade marketing activities,Inventory management with days inventory at the distributor level.Beat planning with route optimization.Setting up of the Sales KPI’s and driving them to ensure sales target achievement of primary and secondary sales, market coverage, SKU coverage, etc.Building up the Sales force automation (SFA) from scratch for better planning, execution, monitoring and reporting.Drives both the operational and strategic route resourcing agenda with the company’s distributors and ensures binding commitments with such partners for distributor growth and route service.Coordinates the RTM activities and adjusts routes to meet customer needs.Analyze and resolve work problems by developing leading-edge RTM programs and ensure appropriate controls and reporting tools.Development and monitoring of business routines that deliver high success rates.Coordinate within the Area to improve the distributor compensation model that will incentivize volume, share growth and delivery performanceMaintain a high-level numeric distribution.Update the RTM process from a strategic point of view, including relevant market changes & resource limitations.Maintain and continuously review the company’s every dealer database and take advantage of all opportunities arising from both organic and inorganic growth of our market.Key Performance IndicatorsAchievement of monthly van sales target (Value and SKU-wise), college, ProductivityRoute OptimizationAchievement of coverage objectives across outlet types.Generating insights from daily/monthly/quarterly reportsTo keep the attrition rate at a bare minimum.
