Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their dynamic, remote-first team. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive HR programs across various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR policy development. As a remote employee, you will be expected to maintain exceptional communication and collaboration skills, proactively engage with colleagues across different time zones, and leverage digital tools to ensure seamless operations. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and retention strategies, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies. You will also act as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, provide guidance on HR-related matters, and facilitate conflict resolution. Developing and delivering HR training programs to foster a positive and productive work environment will be crucial. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, managing HRIS systems, and generating insightful HR reports to support data-driven decision-making. The role also involves contributing to the development and refinement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with the company's objectives and promote fairness and equity. Responsibilities: Oversee recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. Manage employee relations, addressing grievances and fostering a positive work environment. Develop and implement performance management systems. Administer compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies. Develop and update HR policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR matters. Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate HR reports. Contribute to organizational development and change management initiatives. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources. Proven experience in a remote or virtual work environment. In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor law and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. CIPM or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable. This is a remote role, supporting employees across various locations.
A realistic salary range for this position is between 8,000,000 NGN and 9,000,000 NGN per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
