Job SummaryThe Project Accountant will lead the financial oversight and lifecycle management for our capital projects, ensuring fiscal precision and the seamless execution of our real estate technology investments. This role requires a meticulous financial expert with a proven track record in monitoring project progress, optimizing capital records, and executing rigorous expense controls to ensure full alignment with contractual guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify new market opportunities and customer segments for HR Tech solutions.Oversee Project Accounting Function across multiple locations.Ensure accurate financial reporting for each project. and oversee other project accountantsMonitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with financial forecasts.Budget Management:Assist in preparing project budgets and financial plans.Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs, providing explanations and corrective actions.Financial Reporting:Prepare periodic financial reports, including profit and loss statements and cash flow analyses.Present financial summaries to the Financial Controller and project managers.Compliance and Audit:Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.Prepare documentation for audits and assist external auditors as needed.Team Supervision:Supervise and mentor on-site project accountants, providing guidance and support.Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities.Communication:Liaise with project managers and stakeholders regarding financial matters.Facilitate clear communication of financial status and expectations to the Financial Controller.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements in project accounting practices.Implement best practices for financial management across projects.Risk Management:Assess financial risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies.Monitor financial performance and suggest corrective actions as necessary
