Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance department in **Makurdi, Benue, NG**. This role is crucial for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, and providing insightful financial analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing general ledger functions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. Experience with accounting software and a meticulous approach to financial data are essential.

Key responsibilities include: overseeing accounts payable and receivable, performing month-end and year-end closing procedures, conducting financial audits, and preparing tax filings.
