Duties And Responsibilities
• Consolidate and analyse financial data (budgets, forecasts, income statements) in line with business goals
• Contribute to capital allocation decisions and investment performance analysis
• Assist in the annual budgeting process across departments and business units
• Develop rolling forecasts and perform variance analyses to guide financial decisions
• Work with department heads to ensure budget alignment with strategic objectives
• Track budget performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure adherence to IFRS, GAAP, and local financial regulations
• Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
• Monitor compliance with SEC, NSE, and other regulatory bodies
• Support internal audits and coordinate with external auditors
• Contribute to liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and working capital optimization
• Maintain relationships with banks, custodians, and financial institutions
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and trading teams to align financial operations
• Participate in driving automation and process improvements across finance functions
• Stay current with industry trends and financial best practices to drive innovation in analysis and reporting
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Professional certification, such as CPA, ACCA
Experience
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
Competency Requirements
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems and BI tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and present insights clearly to stakeholders
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
• Proven experience in statistical analysis and statistical packages.
