JOB TASKS
• Responsible for sales and leads development in Nigeria and nearby English-speaking African countries;
• Grow the Rice Milling AGI division by winning new business and managing customer relationships;
• Visit existing & potential customers on daily basis and advertise / promote AGI’s product lines in the assigned territory, with focus on rice;
• Managing and interpreting technical and commercial customer requirements;
• Negotiating and closing deals;
• Give proper advice to the client for his business plan and recommend the best technical solution for his project;
• Understand, review, and evaluate flow diagram and engineering drawings;
• Guide the AGI sales support personnel in preparingdetailed offers, including all technical support with drawings, flow diagrams and equipment selectionbased on the client’s requirements;
• Support after sales issues in conjunction with the dedicated department inside the organization;
• Attend and organize trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events in the territory.

JOB SKILLS
• 5 - 10 years of experience in technical sales;
• A mechanical engineering degree will be a plus;
• Strong technical background with solution selling;
• Previous experience and proven sales track record in the same industry;
• Proven experience in the rice milling market and/or food/grain processing industry will be a plus;
• Good understanding and experience with sales of capital goods and investment projects;
• Ability to efficiently communicate technical information by way of drawings produced in AutoCAD will be a plus;
• Demonstrated ability to interpret client’s requirements;
• Result driven, independent and target oriented;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including good oral and written English;
• Highly motivated and self- directed capable of multi-tasking and problem solving;
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, communication in different time zones and meeting deadlines;
• Ability to travel in Nigeria and within Africa when and if required.
