Job Description
• The Investor Relations Manager in an investment bank is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential investors. The role involves communicating the financial health, investment strategy, and performance of the firm’s funds and products, as well as coordinating investor engagement, fundraising efforts, and reporting obligations. The Investor Relations Manager acts as a bridge between the firm and its stakeholders, ensuring transparency, credibility, and investor satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute investor relations strategies aligned with the bank’s fundraising and investment goals.
• Maintain ongoing communication with institutional, retail, and HNI investors to provide timely and accurate information.
• Prepare and distribute investor updates, factsheets, pitch decks, and financial performance reports.
• Coordinate investor meetings, briefings, roadshows, and fundraising campaigns.
• Monitor investor behavior, feedback, and preferences to improve engagement and product alignment.
• Support investment and fund managers in capital raising efforts by providing relevant insights and materials.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in all investor communications and documentation.
• Maintain and update the investor database, CRM tools, and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with the finance, legal, and investment teams on fund structuring and investor documentation.
• Track and report key performance metrics to senior leadership on investor activity, retention, and capital inflows.

Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree or professional certification e.g., CFA, CIPM, or IR-related certification is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, corporate finance, or asset management.
• Demonstrated experience in handling institutional investors, capital raising campaigns, or fund reporting.
• Familiarity with investment products, regulatory frameworks e.g., SEC, CBN, and investor due diligence processes.
