ABOUT THE JOB
A leading Agro-Commodity Trading and Processing Company in Nigeria with a presence in Kano State needs the services of an experienced Accountant.
The Accountant will maintain petty cash, collate and process payment vouchers, maintain accurate and updated supplier accounts, raise/generate payment requests for warehouse and operations-related expenses, inventory entry and reporting, among other duties.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (E.g., ICAN/Final Stage of ICAN) is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably in an FMCG, Agribusiness or Commodity Trading environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes Required:
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teams in the organisation and external partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office Package, especially Excel.
• Working knowledge of Sage will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦250,000.00 per month
