Job Overview
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for supporting the effective operation of the HR department by coordinating key HR functions. These include recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management support, and policy implementation. The HR generalist also serves as a point of contact for staff on matters relating to their well-being, development, and workplace concerns. This role is essential in fostering a positive work culture, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and facilitating smooth communication between employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure employee compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
• Review reports from team leaders and operations managers to assess employee performance and identify training and development needs.
• Recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures based on evolving organizational and employee needs.
• Develop and implement recruitment plans, coordinate interview processes, and establish evaluation criteria in line with HR best practices and labor laws.
• Participate in interdepartmental meetings to ensure alignment of HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Monitor the performance review process to ensure timely completion and accurate documentation.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate workplace disputes in a fair and professional manner.
• Oversee exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and managing offboarding documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation in compliance with internal policies and applicable legal requirements.
• Support the HR Director by carrying out assigned HR-related tasks and projects with professionalism and efficiency.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A knowledge of labor laws.

• Organized and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications
• A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program and possess a valid discharge certificate.
• Candidates exempted from the NYSC program must provide a valid Certificate or Letter of Exemption issued by NYSC.
