Job Description
Our client, a prestigious financial institution, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their investment banking division. This is a critical, fully remote role requiring exceptional quantitative skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, and a proven ability to provide strategic financial insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for complex financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence support, and assisting in the execution of mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, robust problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, virtual collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and identify key performance drivers and risks. Assist in the preparation of presentations, pitch books, and other client materials for M&A and capital markets transactions. Support deal teams in the due diligence process, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. Perform industry research and competitive analysis to inform investment recommendations. Collaborate effectively with dealmakers, clients, and other stakeholders in a remote setting. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data and analyses. Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in investment banking. Contribute to business development efforts by identifying potential client opportunities. Adhere to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA designation strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field. Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and financial statement analysis. Strong understanding of capital markets, M&A processes, and corporate finance principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon). Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a remote work environment. High level of integrity and professionalism.
