Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate marine operations including vessel clearance, discharge monitoring, post-discharge documentation, and volume reconciliation.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as NPA, NIMASA, NMDPRA, terminal operators, surveyors, and shipping agents to support uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure all marine and depot regulatory permits, approvals, and licenses are valid and up to date.
• Oversee depot operations including inventory monitoring, stock reconciliation, and product evacuation activities.
• Coordinate trucking activities and review loading, dispatch, and delivery documentation.
• Ensure alignment between physical stock, system records, and operational reports across depots.
• Maintain accurate marine and depot documentation, including bills of lading, ullage reports, waybills, and reconciliation statements.
• Support internal audits, inspections, and regulatory visits relating to downstream operations.
• Identify and escalate operational risks, variances, or disruptions and support resolution.
• Prepare routine operational reports for management review.
Requirements
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in downstream oil and gas operations.
• Hands-on experience in marine operations and/or depot operations.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian downstream regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with regulators and external stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and volume reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
