Role Overview
• The Sales Representative will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and driving sales performance across three to four retail outlets.
• The role focuses on revenue growth, outlet performance management, customer acquisition, and effective implementation of sales strategies.
• Each Sales Representative will work closely with Storekeepers to ensure optimal stock management and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across assigned outlets, with a minimum 95% target attainment rate.
• Increase outlet revenue by at least 25% year-on-year within the assigned territory.
• Ensure outlet coverage and supervision, conducting a minimum of 1 supervisory visit per outlet per week.
• Improve customer base growth, achieving 20% increase in active customers per quarter.
• Ensure stock availability, maintaining a minimum 98% product availability for fast-moving items across outlets.
• Monitor and reduce stock losses, keeping shrinkage and variances below 1% monthly.
• Implement promotional and marketing activities, ensuring 100% execution compliance across assigned outlets.
• Prepare and submit sales and performance reports, with 100% weekly and monthly reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Support product knowledge and training, ensuring storekeepers achieve 90% compliance with product handling and sales guidelines.
• Ensure proper agrochemical handling and regulatory compliance, with zero major violations.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail sales, field sales, or channel distribution.
• HND, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple locations and meet sales targets.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of fertilizers, agrochemicals, or agricultural inputs is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
