Job Description
Our client, a highly respected early learning center, is looking for a nurturing and dedicated Lead Teacher for their program in **Uyo, Akwa Ibom, NG**. This position requires a passionate educator committed to fostering a stimulating and safe learning environment for young children. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, guiding children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, and collaborating effectively with parents and colleagues. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and the developmental needs of children aged (Specify Age Range, e.g., 3-5 years). Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Observe, assess, and document children's progress, providing individualized support and enrichment activities. Foster positive social-emotional development through guidance, conflict resolution, and positive reinforcement. Promote language development, literacy skills, and early numeracy through various activities. Plan and supervise age-appropriate group activities, including circle time, art projects, music, and outdoor play. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's development, classroom activities, and any concerns. Conduct parent-teacher conferences as scheduled. Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-equipped with appropriate learning materials. Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being. Collaborate with co-teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment. Adhere to all center policies, procedures, and licensing regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. Manage classroom routines and transitions smoothly. Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all children and families. Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Early Childhood Educator or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent classroom management skills. Proficiency in curriculum development and activity planning. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and listening skills. Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for educating young children. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Knowledge of relevant child protection policies and procedures. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
