Job Summary:
Halifield Schools is seeking passionate, dedicated, and experienced English Language and Islamic Religious Studies (IRS) teacher to join our elementary school team. The ideal candidate should have a love for working with young learners and be committed to nurturing academic excellence alongside strong moral values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in English or IRS
• Develop pupils’ reading, writing, comprehension, and communication skills (English)
• Teach Islamic values, morals, and foundational religious knowledge (IRS)
• Prepare lesson notes in line with the school curriculum
• Assess, record, and report pupils’ progress
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and school management
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and trainings
Requirements:
• Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or relevant qualification
• Proven teaching experience at the elementary level is an added advantage
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for teaching young children
• Good moral character and professionalism
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
