Job Description
Teaching & Learning
• Plan and deliver daily lessons that meet the developmental needs of pupils.
• Use play-based and activity-based learning methods.
• Teach foundational subjects such as literacy, numeracy, science, social studies, and creative arts.
• Prepare teaching materials and learning resources.
• Support children in developing basic skills: reading, writing, counting, and social interaction.

2. Classroom Management
• Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Maintain discipline using positive behavior management techniques.
• Ensure pupils are supervised at all times and follow school rules.
• Foster teamwork, respect, and good manners among students.

3. Child Development & Support
• Observe and assess children’s progress regularly.
• Identify and support pupils with learning or behavioral difficulties.
• Encourage social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Provide individual attention and care as needed.

4. Record Keeping & Assessment
• Record daily attendance, lesson plans, and assessment results.
• Prepare progress reports and portfolios for each child.
• Communicate student progress to parents during meetings and through reports.

5. Parent & Community Engagement
• Maintain open, positive communication with parents.
• Organize and participate in school events, open days, and extracurricular activities.
• Offer guidance to parents on supporting learning at home.

6. Professional Responsibilities
• Participate in training, workshops, and staff meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices.
• Adhere to school policies, child protection guidelines, and safety regulations.

Qualifications
• Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education.
• Teaching experience with young children is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and passion for working with children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦110,000.00 - ₦120,000.00 per month
