Job Description
Identifies the unique learning needs of students with physical, mental, emotional, or learning disabilities to provide tailored instruction, accommodations, and modifications.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), manage classroom behavior, and collaborate with parents and specialists to support student growth.
Assess students’ skills and needs, and maintain detailed, up-to-date reports on progress.
Implement behavioral management strategies and Individualized Behavior Plans (IBPs)
Work closely with parents, guardians, general education teachers, therapists (speech, occupational, physical), and counselors.
Teach essential life skills, social skills, and self-regulation techniques
