Job Summary:
The client is seeking a Human Resources Manager who will serve as the operational backbone of the people function. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this role is responsible for executing the firm's people strategy across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and administrative operations.
While the HR Director focuses on institutional architecture, governance, and strategic partnership with the CEO and Co\-Founder, the HR Manager ensures that the strategy is translated into daily reality. S\/he will be the primary point of contact for employees across the business, supporting the unique talent needs of each verticalâ Real Assets, Energy, and Technologyâ while also ensuring the firm's administrative and organizational infrastructure runs smoothly.
This is a hands\-on, high\-visibility role for an HR professional who thrives on execution, enjoys variety, and takes pride in building the systems that allow others to do their best work.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
§ Own the end\-to\-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and personnel records.
§ Maintain and continuously improve HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
§ Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate guidance on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
§ Support the HR Director in the design and implementation of HR policies that meet institutional governance standards.
2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Support
§ Partner with the HR Director and business vertical leads to execute recruitment strategies for investment, operations, and technical roles.
§ Manage the full recruitment cycle: job descriptions, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
§ Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles across Real Assets, Energy, and Technology.
§ Ensure a best\-in\-class candidate experience that reflects the clientâ s values and institutional brand.
3. Business Partner Support for Verticals
§ Act as the dedicated HR support for one or more business verticals (Real Assets, Energy, Technology), understanding their unique talent and cultural needs.
§ Partner with vertical leads to identify skill gaps, succession risks, and development opportunities.
§ Support performance management processes, including goal\-setting, reviews, and feedback cycles.
§ Assist in workforce planning and resource allocation across the platform.
4. Administrative & Organizational Support
§ Oversee office management, facilities, and administrative operations to ensure a productive and professional work environment.
§ Coordinate internal communications, meetings, events, and team off\-sites.
§ Support the leadership team with travel coordination, scheduling, and other organizational needs as required.
§ Manage vendor relationships related to HR and administrative services (benefits providers, recruitment platforms, etc.).
5. Employee Engagement & Culture
§ Support the HR Director in executing culture\-building initiatives that embed the client's values of integrity, discipline, and long\-term orientation.
§ Coordinate employee engagement surveys, feedback sessions, and wellness initiatives.
§ Assist in organizing learning and development programs, mentorship initiatives, and team\-building activities.
§ Help maintain the "institutional memory" by ensuring people's data, knowledge, and relationships are preserved and accessible.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
§ Ensure all HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulatory requirements across the firm's operating jurisdictions.
§ Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HR records.
§ Support the HR Director in preparing people\-related data for investor reporting and governance reviews.
§ Assist in the development and implementation of HR risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements
A. HR Generalist Experience
§ 5\-8 years of HR experience, with exposure to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
§ Experience in professional services, asset management, private equity, or infrastructure is highly preferred.
§ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast\-paced environment.
B. Talent Acquisition Skills
§ Hands\-on experience managing full\-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles (investment, technical, operational).
§ Strong sourcing skills and the ability to identify top talent in competitive markets.
§ Experience building relationships with hiring managers and advising on candidate fit.
C. HR Operations & Systems
§ Proficiency with HRIS platforms, recruitment tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
§ Experience managing employee data, contracts, and compliance records with accuracy and confidentiality.
§ Knowledge of local labor laws and employment regulations across African jurisdictions is a strong advantage.
D. Administrative & Organizational Skills
§ Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
§ Experience supporting office operations, facilities, and leadership teams.
§ Ability to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
E. Interpersonal & Communication Skills
§ Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interact professionally with employees at all levels.

Benefits
Compensation: Base Pay is N1.8m monthly + other interesting benefits.
