Job Summary:
The HR Volunteer supports the organization’s human resource functions by assisting with recruitment, staff records management, onboarding, and employee engagement activities. This role helps ensure smooth HR operations and promotes a positive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with recruitment processes posting vacancies, screening CVs, scheduling interviews
• Support onboarding of new staff and volunteers
• Maintain and update employee/volunteer records
• Help prepare HR documents such as contracts, offer letters, and appointment letters
• Assist with attendance tracking and leave management
• Support training and development coordination
• Help organize staff engagement activities
• Ensure confidentiality of employee information
• Support HR policy implementation and compliance
• Assist in performance management documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Basic understanding of HR principles and practices
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to handle sensitive information professionally
Preferred Qualifications Optional
• Background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• Previous HR internship or volunteer experience
• Knowledge of labor laws basic understanding
