About the Role:

As we continue to expand in Nigeria, we are looking for a Recruiter based in Nigeria to spearhead our local hiring initiatives. If you're passionate about people, operational excellence, and building scalable hiring systems, we’d love to meet you.

Core Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
• Build and manage a local recruitment team, including freelance recruiters and sourcing specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations team to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective recruitment strategies.
• Create and maintain candidate pipelines for common roles (e.g., customer service, virtual assistants, sales reps, etc.).
• Oversee local hiring compliance and advise on best practices in employment standards.
• Implement and optimize ATS tools, assessments, and scorecards to ensure consistent candidate evaluation.
• Maintain key hiring KPIs (time to fill, quality of hire, candidate satisfaction).
• Represent the company at local job fairs or networking events, when relevant.

Must-Haves:
• 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume or international settings.
• Based in Nigeria with deep knowledge of the US labor market and talent pools.
• Exceptional English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team or contractors/freelancers.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms
• Experience recruiting for U.S.-based clients.
• Understanding of US/Nigerian labor laws and employment classifications.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• A bias toward action and the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Prior experience in remote or international recruiting.
• Ability to work EST
