Job Summary

Role Summary

The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will provide strategic leadership for all financial functions at Bilaad Realty. The role requires a visionary leader responsible for financial planning, risk management, investment strategy, capital structuring, and overall financial sustainability. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping long-term growth pathways and supporting the company’s operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Leadership Functions

§ Lead financial strategy formulation aligned with corporate goals and real estate market dynamics.

§ Provide sound financial advice to the CEO, Board, and Executive Management Team.

§ Oversee capital raising, investor relations, and financing structuring for development projects.

§ Drive long-term financial planning, business modelling, and growth forecasting.

Financial Management

§ Direct the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.

§ Manage liquidity, treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and investment portfolios.

§ Evaluate financial performance of projects; develop models for profitability, ROI, IRR, and risk scenarios.

Governance, Compliance & Risk

§ Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, tax laws, and internal financial policies.

§ Establish strong financial controls, audit processes, and risk management frameworks.

§ Liaise with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.

Operational Excellence

§ Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team to drive continuous improvement.

§ Implement modern systems for financial reporting, automation, and data-driven decision making.

§ Oversee cost management, procurement financials, and operational expenditure discipline.

Qualifications & Experience

§ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s, MBA, or Finance-related PhD is an added advantage).

§ Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, CFA, ANAN or equivalent (mandatory).

§ Minimum 12–15 years progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in real estate, construction, infrastructure, or investment sectors.

§ Strong experience in project finance, capital restructuring, investment modelling, and financial controls.

§ Expertise in financial systems, ERPs, and analytical tools.
