In partnership with our client, we are seeking a
Sales Officer for the Public Sector who knows how to open doors in government institutions and keep them open. This is a role for a relationship builder and a results driver who understands the unique dynamics of selling financial products to ministries, agencies, and parastatals. • You are a sales professional with experience in financial services and a strong understanding of the public sector landscape.

Your Responsibilities...
• You will identify and develop business opportunities within government institutions, ministries, and public agencies.
• You will promote the organisation's financial products and services to public sector employees and decision makers.
• You will build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key contacts across public sector institutions.
• You will organise product presentations and onboarding sessions to drive awareness and adoption.
• You will achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals consistently.
• You will generate and manage leads within public sector networks to grow your pipeline.
• You will ensure proper documentation and compliance during every client onboarding process.
• You will provide market intelligence on public sector opportunities to support business strategy.
• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline records at all times.

What Success Looks Like...
• Assigned sales targets and revenue goals are met or exceeded consistently on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• A strong and growing pipeline of public sector leads is maintained and actively converted.
• Lasting relationships are built with key contacts across government institutions, ministries, and public agencies.
• All client onboarding is completed with proper documentation and full compliance.
• Valuable market intelligence is regularly provided, contributing to the organisation's public sector strategy.

To be considered for this role you should have...
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in sales, preferably within financial services.
• Strong networking and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to engage government institutions professionally and effectively.
