Job Description
After a thorough research of poultry business in Nigeria, Sayed Farms ltd was established in the year 2004 by Mr. Haytham Nawam and Mr. Ziad Sayed, who both have a broad experience in the field of poultry; The company is specialized in poultry sector & currently the distribution of frozen food (frozen Fish, French fries, frozen chicken etc...) & covers all the majors aspects of the chicken business field & frozen foods distribution. The company based in Nigeria with two branches in: Ibadan, and Abuja; the Head office is in Lebanon. Job Reference: SHRO2026021 Job Summary The Senior Human Resources Officer will be responsible for overseeing key HR functions, including payroll administration, recruitment and selection, employee relations, and general HR operations. The role requires a highly experienced professional capable of ensuring efficient HR service delivery while maintaining compliance with company policies and labor regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer the company's payroll process, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely payment of staff salaries and statutory deductions. Maintain and update employee payroll records, including allowances, deductions, leave balances, and benefits. Handle end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees. Prepare employment documents such as offer letters, contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR correspondence. Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files. Support the implementation and enforcement of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution in line with company policies. Coordinate staff performance appraisal processes and provide administrative support to line managers. Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies. Prepare periodic HR reports, including staff turnover, payroll reports, and recruitment reports. Coordinate staff training and development initiatives. Manage employee leave administration and attendance records. Support HR management in implementing HR strategies and organizational development initiatives. Requirements and Qualifications Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years' experience in Human Resources, with strong experience in payroll management and recruitment. Professional certification, such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI, will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of payroll systems, HR practices, and Nigerian labor laws. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and HR/payroll software.
