Position Overview:

The organisation is seeking an experienced and strategic human resources & administration lead to oversee all HR and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, drive effective talent management, strengthen employee engagement, manage performance systems, and oversee seamless administrative operations that support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies aligned with workforce planning.
• Manage end-to-end hiring processes, including advertising, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
• Conduct proper background checks and ensure accurate documentation of employee records.

Employee Relations
• Serve as a liaison between management and staff.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.

Performance Management
• Design and implement structured performance appraisal systems.
• Support managers in goal setting, KPI development, and performance reviews.
• Develop and monitor performance improvement plans where necessary.

Training & Development
• Identify training needs and coordinate learning programmes.
• Develop leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
• Monitor employee growth and career development plans.

Compensation & Benefits
• Oversee payroll coordination and salary administration.
• Manage employee benefits, pensions, and statutory deductions.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations, including PENCOM, State Internal Revenue Services/NRS (FCT), NSITF, and NHIA.

Policy Development & Compliance
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the Labour Act and other relevant Nigerian labour laws.
• Maintain employee records in line with data protection standards.

Administrative Management
• Oversee office administration and facility management.
• Manage company assets and vendor relationships.
• Supervise administrative staff.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing systems, and record keeping.
• Coordinate logistics, travel arrangements, and company events.
• Monitor administrative budgets and control costs.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• A master's degree (MBA/HRM) is an added advantage.
• Professional certification such as CIPM or SHRM
• Minimum of 4 years’ HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
