Our client seeks a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure development projects in Umuahia, Abia, NG . This role is ideal for an individual with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables; developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will lead and motivate project teams, coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, government agencies, and internal departments, and manage risks and issues proactively.
Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, contract negotiation, procurement oversight, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. You will be adept at utilizing project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and tools to track progress, report on project status, and facilitate effective decision-making. Strong leadership qualities are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience in the infrastructure sector, particularly in construction, civil engineering, or utilities, is highly desirable.
