Business Development Executive (Oil & Gas)
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Executive to join our team in Victoria Island, Lagos. The ideal candidate will possess a deep network within the Oil and Gas sector and a proven track record of securing major contracts with International Oil Companies (IOCs).
Key Responsibilities
• Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new client accounts and decision-makers specifically within the Oil and Gas industry.
• Contract Acquisition: Win major contracts across core service areas, including EPCIM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Maintenance) and Manpower Supply.
• Strategic Networking: Grow and leverage your professional network to meet potential clients and represent the company at technical meetings, workshops, and trade shows.
• Bid Management: Rigorously follow up on bids submitted to NAPIMS and other key clients.
• Partnership Management: Identify and manage strategic alliances with third-party technical partners to expand business capacity and technology leverage.
• Performance Tracking: Drive departmental objectives through rigorous tracking of KPIs and operational efficiencies.
Requirements
• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Tech, Social Sciences, or similar fields.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Oil and Gas sector, including experience with feasibility reports and tender preparations.
Skills: Strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to articulate new business opportunities in line with corporate goals.
