Job Responsibilities
• Teach Physics, Basic Technology, and Geography to junior and/or senior secondary school students
• Prepare lesson plans in line with the Nigerian national curriculum WAEC, NECO, and BECE standards
• Deliver engaging and practical lessons that enhance students’ understanding
• Conduct assessments, tests, and examinations and maintain accurate student records
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations
• Utilize instructional materials, laboratory equipment, and ICT tools effectively
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom
• Participate in staff meetings, school programs, and professional development activities
• Perform other academic duties assigned by the school management.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum of B.Sc., B.Ed., or B.Tech in Physics, Geography, Engineering, Education, or related fields
• TRCN certification is an added advantage
• 1 - 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school
• Good knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to teach practical and technical aspects of Basic Technology and Physics
• Basic computer literacy MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel etc.
