Reports To: General Manager - Business Development
Division: Enterprise Business
Mission:
• To drive and execute New Markets (Enterprise) Business development strategy for MTNN
• To increase revenue from existing Enterprise customers by uncovering unmet needs, introducing new solutions, and driving deeper adoption.
• To Research, Evaluate and recommend new business opportunities and Solutions, especially around ICT and Converged services, to deliver MTNN Enterprise business revenue growth objectives.
Description:
• Co-ordinate the various departments’ activities in managing new business and market expansion.
• Work with the Partnerships, Segments and Solutions Development on varied issues that may affect delivery on new solutions within timeline and specifications.
• Integrate and align New Markets Development efforts on ICT and Converged solutions portfolio.
• Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing new markets, verticals, and solution opportunities that unlock new revenue streams for EB.
• Research and provide insights on market opportunities for new business.
• Validate and size new opportunities and provide justification on which opportunities to pursue
• Develop, implement, and be responsible for performance KPI’s and Metrics of New Markets growth and execution.
• Establish and maintain regular governance processes around New Market opportunities identification and pursuit.
• Lead the team to attend various industry and Thought Leadership events to gain insights into trends, growth areas and market shifts.
• Prepare and drive the conduction Proof of concepts where necessary, to validate technical and commercial viability of new projects.
• Oversee Project management of new opportunities, from idea stage to commercial launch.
• Develop and seek approval for business case justification, for all new solutions within the projects pipeline.
Education:
• A first degree in any related field
• Project Management certification will be an added advantage
• Fluent in English
Experience:
9- 17 years’ experience which includes
• Minimum 5 years of Managerial role in Enterprise Business Development:
• * Ability to identify and evaluate new market opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to build business cases.
• Skilled at translating market trends into actionable strategies.
• Analytical & Research Skills: Strong market scanning, competitor analysis, feasibility assessment, and opportunity sizing.
• Technology /ICT Solution Sales,
• Experience working in a Telecom or Tech company required.
• Proven Track Record in New Revenue Creation
• Exposure to Emerging Technologies & Digital Trends
