Job Description
Salary Range: ₦250,000 – ₦280,000 Monthly Gross

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy implementation, engagement, and exit processes, while ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour laws.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement and execute daily HR operations and oversee all administrative duties within the organisation.
• Maintain and regularly update employee records on the HR Management System HRMS, including employee welfare and relations data.
• Support and monitor employee relations, disciplinary, and grievance procedures; prepare HR correspondence and participate in mediation meetings.
• Provide guidance and advisory support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist in developing and implementing recruitment, retention, training & development, performance management, employee engagement, and conflict resolution strategies.
• Work closely with management to ensure compliance with company policies, while continuously educating employees on policy updates.
• Respond accurately and promptly to employment-related enquiries, including employment confirmations and background checks.
• Maintain and manage staff records in both hard and electronic formats.
• Coordinate employee orientation, onboarding, and training programmes for new hires.
• Develop, monitor, and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Track and report key HR metrics such as turnover and retention rates.
• Support employer branding initiatives and HR projects as required.

Key Requirements
• Proven experience as an HR Advisor, HR Consultant, or in a similar HR role.
• Bachelor’s degree BSc or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management CIPM is required.
• Participation in an employability programme is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and regulations.
• Hands-on experience using Human Resources Management Software HRMS.
• Excellent organisational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferably a male candidate for gender balance.
