Role Overview

You will play a critical role in delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences aligned with Montessori principles and the Nigerian Primary School Curriculum. You will be responsible for nurturing curiosity, building foundational skills, and supporting the holistic development of every child.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver well-structured, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the Montessori philosophy
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Observe, assess, and document pupils’ progress effectively
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, school leadership, and parents to support learning outcomes
• Model and uphold the school’s values, culture, and professional standards
• Participate actively in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs

Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Education or relevant subject preferred)
• 1–3 years’ experience in the same or similar role
• Strong knowledge of the Primary School Curriculum
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High level of self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to uphold and model school values consistently
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children and adults
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for teaching
• Clear evidence of commitment to continuous professional development
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Demonstrated excellence in service delivery, with attention to quality and detail
